A certain clock marks every hour by striking a number of times equal to the hour, and the time required for a stroke is exactly equal to the time interval between strokes. At 6:00 the time lapse between the beginning of the first stroke and the end of the last stroke is 22 seconds. At 12:00, how many seconds elapse betwwen the beginning of the first stroke and the end of the last stroke?

s-i-s-i...i-s
At 6:00(6 strokes)
6s+5i= 22
s=i => 11s=22
s=2
At 12:00(12strokes)
12s+11i = 23s = 46

Thus 46 second

At 6:00-
There are six strikes and 5 intervals between 6 strikes.
So time taken by each strike = 22/(6+5) = 2

At 12:00
There are 12 strikes and 11 intervals between strikes.

Total time taken = 2 * 23= 46

46 seconds.......

6 strokes when clock strikes 6 with 5 intervals

Let each stroke and interval take x secs
Hence
11x = 22
x = 2 secs

When clock strikes 12, there will be 12 strokes and 11 intervalss
Hence total time taken = 23*2 = 46 secs
