Let the number of Jellybeans be: Black =b, Yellow= y, Pink = p
b+j+p=20
p>y
(1) The jar contains more black jellybeans than pink jellybeans.
This gives b>p
With this information, we can easily make combinations where both p>y and y<p
Hence inconclusive.
(2) The jar contains 6 pink jellybeans.
This only give p=6.
Again we can easily make combinations where both p>y and y<p
Hence inconclusive.
(1) and (2)
p=6 and b>p
Now making combinations:
As we can make both combinations with the given information, hence inconclusive.
