300 liters of liquid will have (10/100)* 300 = 30 litrers of mineral X

3/4 liters of mineral----------> 1 acre
30 liters of mineral ---------> {1/(3/4)}*30 = 40

Instead of trying to generate an expression, we'll let the answers do the work for us.
This is an Alternative approach.

Say (C) were correct. Then each acre wold receive 300/18 = 150/9 = 50/3 = about 17 liters of fertiliezer.
That means it would get 17*10% = 1.7 liters of the mineral.

Too much! We need to more than half the liters of mineral meaning more than double the number of acres
(C) is eliminated as are the smaller (D) and (E).

Let's try (A) as it is more than double (C).
Then each acre receives 300/40 = 30/4 liters of fertilizer and 10% of that is 3/4 liters of mineral.
Yes!
(A) is our answer.

Fertiliser 10% mineral x by volume 1 litre 100 ml of mineral X
using 3/4 litre = 750 ml of liquid x per acre for this 7500 of fertiliser is needed

1 acre of land 7.5 litres of fertiliser is used which gives 3/4 ( 750 ml) of mineral X



7.5 ~ 1
300 ~ ?

300/7.5 = 40

(A) imo
