Circumference of bigger rim: \(2\pi r=2\pi\frac{35}{2}=35\pi\)
Circumference of smaller rim: \(2\pi r=2\pi\frac{28}{2}=28\pi\)
In 1 second, smaller rim makes x revolution covering a total distance of \(28\pi x\)
Bigger rim covers the same distance in 1 second; say, it takes y revolution/sec for the bigger rim to cover the same distance;
\(35 \pi y=28 \pi x\)
\(y=\frac{28 \pi x}{35\pi}\)
\(y=\frac{4}{5}x\) ------- Revolution/second for the bigger rim
\(\frac{4}{5}x*60\) ------- Revolution/min for the bigger rim
\(48x\)
Ans: "C"
