A company wants to spend equal amounts of money for the purchase of two types of computer printers costing $600 and $375 per unit, respectively. What is the fewest number of computer printers that the company can purchase?
a. 13
b. 12
c. 10
d. 8

I wasn't too sure how to set-up the equation for this one. What i can extract from the q stem is 600x = 375y. But then what? Is this a case of backsolving?

I think the Ans is A... but may b wrong as I have tried to solve this in a hurry.
We know that...
600x = 375y
x/y = 5/8
Now try dividing the numbers given in this ratio....The only possible choice is A

I got A as well,
using LCM formula
LCM for 600 and 375=3000, therefore 5 + 8=13 computers
