Asked: How many printers did the computer store sell yesterday?
(1) Of the total number of computers and printers sold by the store yesterday, 40 percent were computers.
Computers and printers sold yesterday = 60
Computers sold yesterday = 24
Printers old yesterday = 60 - 24 = 36
SUFFICIENT
(2) The store sold 12 more printers than computers yesterday.
Let the printers sold yesterday be x
x + (x -12) = 60
2x = 72
x = 36
Printers old yesterday = 36
SUFFICIENT
