A couple questions for my application

1. My post-college work experience began like this:
Graduation: June 2012
Took temporary sales job to bring in income: September 2012 - November 2012
Found legit job: November 2012 - Present
I've been leaving the temp sales job off my resume because it was short and generally non-useful. Should I do the same for my B-school applications? If so, would you describe the "employment gap" from June-November in the allotted space? For example, Yale's app asks you to describe any gaps in work experience greater than 3 months.
2. I quit my legit job this summer to move from California to NYC. I took a 3 week roadtrip and have found employment in my new home. To me this was an important milestone and life accomplishment but I'm not sure where/if to include it. Should I list the roadtrip as one of my extracurricular activities, try to touch on the experience in my essays, or just wait until I am asked why I moved in an interview?
3. i've worked in marketing to date, but I am pursuing a MBA to transition into consulting. I'd like to work in the Northeast or Chicago post-MBA. I'm thinking I'm going to apply to: Yale, Columbia, Ross, Kellogg, and maybe Duke. Thoughts? I was going to apply to Georgetown or Carnegie Mellon and go if I got a scholarship (an adcom at CMU said I would be a realistic candidate FWIW), but considering I am on the young side I'm thinking I should just aim high and wait til next year if I don't get in. My only other consideration is applying to Tuck or MIT, but I don't want to apply to a million different schools.
