Started with: 1000
After 1st year: 1000/2 = 500
After 2nd year: 500/2 = 1000/4 = 250
After 3rd year: 250/2 = 125 = 1000/8 = 125
So, if you observer the pattern:
\(1000* \frac{1}{2^t}\)
