The probability that the last card dealt is an ace \(=\frac{4}{52}=\frac{1}{13}\)

This probability is equivalent to the first card being an Ace. We need to know the number of ways to deal 13 cars as well as the number of ways to deal 13 cards with one of them being an Ace. The number of ways we can deal 13 cards is 52 x 51 x....x 40. The number of ways we can deal an ace is 4, so the number of ways the first (or last) card dealt is an ace is 4 x 51 x 50 x ...40.

Therefore the probability the last card = ace = probability first card = ace = (4 x 51 x 50x.....x40)/(52 x 51 x ......40) = (4/52) = 1/13 OA is C
