The question needs to mention that the order was for more than 10 tons, because the additional freight charge only applies to orders greater than 10 tons (from the part of the question that reads "plus $2 per ton after the first 10 tons.").
If the order was for 10 tons or less, then the total cost would simply be 20x, the cost of the feed, plus $100, the fixed cost of the freight. There would be no other charges, so in that case, answer B would be correct. But if x > 10, answer B is no longer correct, because of the additional charge for high-weight shipments. Shriyaverma19's solution above is perfect.
