Can someone explain the answer of this question?
Type - Overlapping set question,

Given - A focus group of 24 people is asked to consider two possible ads. The focus group members are asked if they prefer the serious ad, prefer the comical ad, like both, or dislike both. Eleven members viewed the serious ad positively, and 15 had a positive view of the comical ad. If no one disliked both ads.
S= Serious, C=Comical,
Therefore, n(S) = 11, n(C) = 15 and n(C'∩S') = 0
n(S) + n(C) - n(S∩C) = 24
11 + 15 - 24 = n(S∩C)
n(S∩C) = 2
Therefore for only serious = n(S) - n(S∩C) = 11 - 2 = 9
and only comical = n(C) - n(S∩C) = 15 - 2 = 13
