Hi, I would say C without really solving this I see that there are 3 variables , to solve this we would need 3 equations, answer choice C would provide us with three different equations.

I found out A as a response.
Because, if i understand well the text, first assumption => a+3 = 30% of total so a+3 = 30% of (12+3) So we have our quantity a!
second assumption give us an equation but is not sufficient because we will have only 2 equations for 3 variables.
Or am i wrong?

No I dont think this is correct. It says A leters are in the original mixture.

1: says that if 3 liters of A were added. Not an additional 3 liters of A.
