Price of individual membership = 400, let the price of family membership = n
Let the number of individual and family memberships sold be x & y, respectively.
Our task is to find the value of n.

Therefore, total revenue: 400x + ny = 600,000

1) Says that y = 2x
400x + 2nx = 600,000

We still have two variables. Insufficient.

2) Says that 400x = (1/3)*600,000.

x = 500

200,000 + ny = 600,000.

And ny = 400,000

We still have two variables. Insufficient.

But when we combine the two, y = 2x

And ny = 400,000

n*2*500 = 400,000

C is the answer.
