I think the question is amgibuous.

How can you assume, in either case, that the seller sold his item at the asking price? Neither of the added information pieces tells you explicitly that he sold the item at the asking price.

My question would be -- what is the proper way to read this question?

If we assume nothing, then the answer would be E - both together are insufficient.

If we assume the asking price = selling price, then either is sufficient - answer D.

Where is this problem from and what is the OA?

its either D or A...if SP is 1935 = Ap then it has to be D...or else A...

whts the OA?

st2 does not provide u a clear indicaion whether the jweler sold bracelet at same cost price
