A man observes the minute hand and the hour hand of a clock. The clock is faulty and the hands of
the clock move in anticlockwise direction. If this clock shows the correct time at 4:00 a.m., then

The hands are moving in anticlockwise direction and the clock shows the correct time at 4am.
So, after 4am the hands will move (or will continue to move) in anticlockwise direction and any time after 4am will be subtracted from 4am as the hands are moving with the same speed but in opposite or anticlockwise direction.
6:15am is 2hrs 15mins more than 4am. So, we will subtract 2hrs 15mins from 4am to get 1:45am as the time
So, answer is C.
