So the equation formed is 3c+ 5 M= 4000

But now we know C= 5M

So eqaution become 20M = 4000
And M is 200

So the cost of computer is 5M= 1000

A 200
B 400
C 600
D 800
E 1,000

Total = 4000

3 equally price computers

5 equally priced monitors.

As per the question, each computer costs 5 times of each monitor.

Let each monitor costs x dollar.

Total cost of monitors = 5x.

cost of each computer = 5x

Total cost of computers = 5x *3 = 15x.

5x + 15x = 4000

20x = 4000

x = 200.

5x = 200*5 = 1000. cost of each computer.

E is the correct answer.
