A manufacturing company is testing out a new design for one of its most popular products. For the test run, the company currently has an inventory of 3,500 widgets and 2000 sprockets. The design requires 3 sprockets and 7 widgets, and the company will produce as many units of the new design as current inventory allows.

In the table below, select one value for the number of sprockets used and one value for the number of units produced.

1 unit requires 3 sprockets and 7 widgets.
Inventory- 3,500 widgets and 2000 sprocket
max widgets utilized -- 3500/7 = 500
max sprocket utilized -- 2000/3 = 666
Least of the two would give the max number of units that can be made. i.e 500
And 1 unit would have 3 sprockets hence total sprockets used = 1500.

500 sprockets Min(3500/7--widgets, 2000/3--sprockets)

And number of units --- 500*3= 1500

So we have 3500 widgets and 2000 sprockets available.
We need 3 S and 7 W to create one design.

The number of units produced will depend on 7W. So 3500/7=500. We need 1500 sprockets to produce 500 units. So we are good. So column 1 will be C and column 2 will be A.
