Thank you. Please help to catch my wrong thinking

The original solution is X; the amount of milk 0.60x
6 liters milk is added to get 90% milk solution, right?

Then 0.60x+6 = 0.90x
0.30x=6
x= 20

But the answer is A.

Hope you back to my question.

Hello MHIKER

Please refer to the portion in red. It should be 0.9 (x + 6), as the amount of solution also increases, and the milk is now 90% of the increased solution.

If you solve it, you get 0.6x + 6 = 0.9(x + 6) = 0.9x + 5.4

Therefore 0.3x = 0.6

x = 2

Hope this helps
