For 1 new release for 5 days, we have d + (5-1)*5 = d + 20
For 1 standard release for 5 days, we have (d - 3) + (5-2)*2.25 = d-3+6.75 = d+3.75

Hence for 2 new releases and 1 standard release for 5 days we have:

2(d+20) + d+ 3.75 = 61.75
3d + 43.75 = 61.75
3d = 18
d = 6

Hence Option D

Dear Bunuel, answer choices A and C both state 5.25\$.

Could you adjust one of them?
