Solution
- • Let the weight of lemon flavoured tea in stock be L (in pounds).
- o \(L = 80*\frac{20}{100} = 16 ……………… Eq.(i)\)
- o Newly brought lemon flavoured tea \(= 20*0.6\) pounds
o Hence, Total lemon flavoured tea in stock \(= L + 20*0.6 \) pounds
- On substituting the value of L from Eq. (i) in the above equation, we get:
Total lemon flavoured tea in stock \(=16+12 =28\) pounds
Thus, the correct answer is Option E.
