Hi everyone,
Posting here to seek your experience and advice on a Post-MBA career path.
Looking to start my MBA in Fall 2025. I don't necessary need an MBA to progress career-wise but deciding to do so for immigration purposes. Some quick background:
- I've been with a Media Start-up for the past 5 years.
- I specialize in Sales, Sales Management, Sales Strategy
- I also work on the creative side of the business, i.e format creation, scripting development, show host
- MBA Programs I'm interested in: Haas, McCombs, Booth ...
I'm only beginning my search but would love to get your perspective on possible career path. Options I have seen that can fit:
- Sales & Marketing Consultant at MBB/Tier 2 Consulting - Not my prefer path as I want to be executional
- Brand Management (FMCG) - Possible but I'm looking to strengthen my capabilities beyond marketing
- Startup ...
Are there opportunities in big Tech, other routes? My long term aspiration would revolve around revenue-generation, sales, growth with operations responsbilities. May be growing into a CRO role?
Would great appreciate your thoughts here.
