As the number is divisible by 56, gives remainder 29
56 is divisible by 8 too, so number will also be divisible by 8.
29 / 8 gives remainder 5.

N= 56P+29. (P= quotient =integer)
= 8 (7P)+29. (7P is also integer)
Hence according to the question, the number N= 8Q+R (R = remainder, Q is quotient)
Hence, in the 2nd case remainder would be also 29.
But,by definition of remainder, it must be positive & less than that number.
So, we need to find out the remainder when 29 is devided by 8.
Which is R(29/8) = 5
