I took the exam yesterday, very difficult math though I had a not so bad score. I thought I was doing very bad in quant, but it turned pretty well. I had only one combiantion problem (very easy), and one probability (DS).
On the verbal, I started very well with about 6 SC and then 2 RC of about 3 to 4 questions each. I thought I was doing great, but at the end, the result was completely dissapointing. I was expecting somthing like 37. I really do not understand what happened in verbal, as I was sure I was doing great.
Well that was my experience, really don┬┤t know if I will retake yet.
I had already given the GMAT 4 times, 500, 570 and 580, at least I improved every time.

Hi there...wow..4 cracks at the GMAT, full marks for perseverance! You're an inspiration actually because you've improved each time you've taken the test! I guess seeing how far you've actually come from your first score, you should be very happy with this score!

I took gmat also 25 of August!
Exactly the same filling (see my post about Second attempt - Still 680)
I've expected the same result as you in my verbal part - around 37 - but ended up with exactly the same score = 31
You're not alone!
I won't give up. Think that you will not give up as well.
