Hi there. I want to take the GMAT in two weeks or so to apply for the 2008 entrance class at business schools. This week I read the Princeton Review book and the Kaplan 800 book and in the remaining two weeks I am going to read the Official Guide. I have read around the forums but am still a little confused as to how you guys get estimates of your scores prior to taking the actual test. Do I have to buy the computer tests off the GMAT website? I just want an estimate just to know where I am. Thanks a lot.

the GMAC has official practice tests you can download called the GMAT Prep tests. you can get them from mba.com. they are very very good indicators of what your actual test will look like and the score you will get.

good luck
