Hello,
So finally I gave my GMAT yesterday night. I have few questions regarding that:
1. The test started with quant and 1st question was a geometry bouncer. However I made an informed guess as I was sure it will take me much longer to solve. After that I received 2-3 more sufficiently tough questions, however I was ale to solve those. Overall the test was ok, but I did not receive any probability question, though few P&C question. Was it bad?
2. Similar goes with Verbal. I did not get a single boldface question. Even though the RC questions were extremely tough. Was it that bad?
Please help. As I have not received an official score, anxiety is killing me currently.
BTW my last few gmac practice test scores- 700, 710, 740, 720 (latest)

Hey Nitin - I have known people who have had a similar experience. He scored a 720 yet he didn't receive any boldface or probability question in the entire test. While the appearance of probability and boldface questions is generally perceived as a sign of doing well in the test, it may not be the case always

Yes, I think its a perception from many people that Bold face and Probability generally mean doing good on the test. But no one can define how good(780?). Also,from a Critical reasoning standpoint, we don't know how many questions a person gets wrong after a boldface or a probability question, so we cant reason around this fact.
