Answer choice "C"

Focus on idiom "More than" which is wrongly used - "are more...........than are.." it seems pretty messed up.

correct form of usage - X is/are more than Y.

Modifier "from subtle to loud emotions" modifies emotions and not men.

Keeping these two points in mind one may eliminate choices A,B,E.

Choice D has verb error and violates S-V pair must have rule.
