Given data:
Total Vehicles - 100
Vehicles not rented(40%) - 40
Vehicles rented(60%) - 60

Rented - Compact cars : $$\frac{1}{4} * 60 = 15$$
Rented - Full size cars : $$\frac{3}{4} * 60 = 45$$
Since there was the same number of compact cars and full-size cars that were not rented that day,
Not rented - Full-Size cars = Not rented - Compact = 20

Therefore, the agency owns 20+45(65) full size cars(Option E)

We know that 100 x 0.4 = 40 vehicles were not rented, and thus 60 were rented.

(1/4) x 60 = 15 compact cars were rented; thus, 60 - 15 = 45 full-size cars were rented.

Since the same number of compact cars and full-size cars were not rented that day, 20 compact and 20 full-size cars were not rented.

Therefore, there were 20 + 45 = 65 full-size cars.
