To know the percent who gave a favorable response from all customers we need to know the number or percent for each of the groups.
We'll look for statements that give us this information, a Logical approach.

(1), (2) Both give us the percent in only one of the groups.
Insufficient.

Combined:
We now have enough information to calculate (the calculation is (0.3*300 + 0.2*200)/1000, but we don't actually care what this number is!)
Sufficient.
