10% of 270 = 27.
5% of 270 = 13.5.

so,
15 % of 270 = 40.5

total salary required 1000
earning from single sale 40.5

# of sale = 1000/40.5 = 24.something
so 25 sale

C is the correct choice

each sale of \$270 gets him (15/100)*270= \$40.5
no of sales to reach at least \$1000 = 1000/40.5 = ~24.69 = 25 sales

Letting n = the number of sales that must be made, we can create the equation:

0.15(270)(n) ≥ 1000

40.5n ≥ 1000

n ≥ 1000/40.5 = 24.69

Since n has to be an integer, at least 25 sales must be made.
