A square is inscribed in a circle. The area of the square is approximately what percent of the area of the circle?

A) 32%
B) 56%
C) 64%
D) 70%
E) 80%

Let the diameter of circle be d. Diagonal of square will be equal to d

Area of square = 1/2 * \(d ^2\)
Area of circle = \(\frac{22}{7}\) * \(d^2\) /4

Question is 1/2 is what percentage of pi/4 or 22/28 or 11/14
1/2 = x/100 * 11/14
x is approx 64

Option C
