If 2.4 is 90% value, it's 100% value will be slightly greater than 2.4
If 2.4 is 75% value, it's 100% value will be greater than what it will be when 2.4 is 90% value.
Using reverse percentage formula.
2.4*75/100 = 3.2
Answer is C

Greater the marked price, more is the discount percentage you will need to bring it down to a certain selling price.
To get the greatest possible marked price, the discount offered must have been 25%.
MP * (75/100) = 2.40
MP = 3.2
