Considering we have to figure out the lowest possible price, we have to assume that the store offers 50% discount off the tagged price with an additional 20% special sale discount. Therefore, the item will sell at 80% of the already discounted price.
Based on the above assumption, the lowest possible price of the item whose tagged price is 65 dollars will be (0.8*0.5*65)dollars = 26 dollars. Hence, B is the correct answer.

Store regularly offers a discount of 30 percent to 50 percent on all items.: For us to get the lowest possible price- we need to get the maximum possible discount i.e. 50%. So, if tag price= \$65, regular discounted price becomes= 65 * .5= \$32.5.

Now, let's add another 20% special discount: we're basically paying 80% of the regularly discounted price of \$32.5= 0.8*32.5= \$ 26, hence B.
