A tank is filled by three pipes with uniform flow. The first two pipes operating simultaneously fill the tank in the same time during which the tank is filled by the third pipe alone. Lets consider time taken by individual pipes as f,s,t.
So work done equation : eq1 --> 1/f+1/s=1/t
and as we know : eq2 --> s=5+f=-4+t
Solve for f , we get two values (15,3)
The answer is C.

Let's Assume First pipe takes A hours , second B and third C
1/A+1/B = 1/C ( as first two pipe take same time as third pipe do)
B=A-5 ( second pipe fills 5 hours faster ) ....1
C=B-4 ( as second pipe is slower than second) ....2
Substituting B in 2
C= A-5 -4
C = A -9
1/A+1/A-5 = 1/A-9
Test the option and C satisfies it.
Hence the answer.
