Got the chance to look at this question again. My reading of it was incorrect the first time.

For the first building, the ratio of the height of the building to its shadow is:

36/24 = 3/2

Second building we get:

x + 3 / 50

Here's the kicker that makes or breaks the question. The minar cast the shadow at the same time of day so the ratio of the height of the minar to its shadow is equivalent to 3/2:

x + 3/50 = 3/2
x = 72

Check that...shouldn't it be 75?

Bunuel is the correct answer 75 here? 72 is the height of the minar, but we also have to add the 3m flag staff.
72 + 3 = 75. (OA is B)
