Hi Ro799,
The amount of time that you might have to wait for your Official Score Report to be available to Schools will depend on a number of variables - including the time of year that you take your Exam and whether you're taking the GMAT at a Test Center or through the At-home option. During the busier time of the year for the Exam (re: generally August - January, when lots Test Takers are also facing application deadlines), there may be a slightly longer processing time (since each Essay also has to be graded, which sometimes creates a backlog). In addition, because of security concerns, the At-home GMAT has the potential for longer delays for Test-administration review; some people have reported having to wait several weeks (or longer) for their Scores after taking the At-home GMAT. Under normal circumstances, you'll have your Unofficial Score immediately after completing the Test - and your Official Results will probably be available at some point from 2-3 days to a week.
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) What Schools are you planning to apply to and what specific application deadlines are you facing?
