For a person with 13 years work ex from a core industry is it possible to get into iim or isb with the requisite score

In addition to PGP Program you can also explore the PGP Pro Program. I'd recommend you to attend an ISB info session and directly talk to the PGP Pro representative.

For ISB PGP Program, or for the matter of fact any 1 year full time residential program (such as that of IIMs) you must have a good story aligned with "why you want an MBA at this point in your life"? As long as you can answer this I don't see any problem.

My understanding from attending the ISB Info session is-
#1 Someone with 9 years of experience can join PGP Pro
#2 Someone with 11 years of experience can join ISB PGP.
In both cases it boils down to few self-reflection questions

- Am I ready to take a one year break?
- Am I looking for industry &/or function change?
- Am I on the right career path and just need a weekend course to beak the ceiling?

Hope this helps, cheers :)
