I took the GMAT a couple of days ago and was generally horrified after recieving a score of 655 since the exam went quite well by my intuition. The ESR confirmed by assessment which left me by surprise.
With 1 question wrong in quant I somehow ended up with a score of 82 (76th percentile) and with 3 wrong in verbal I ended up with a score of 82 (79th percentile). By my understanding (from similar incorrect qs in mocks and other GMAT focus discussion) this outcome seems very odd. I reached out to GMAC who said (in different words) "it is what it is". Can anyone help me understand (1) is there a reason I was scored this way (I need to avoid it in my next attempt if there is something I did that resulted in this), (2) is there any recourse available if it is incorrect scoring?
Thanks is advance!
