Hello,
I recently applied to an MSF program that I'm super excited about. Admissions invited me to an interview and in my excitement and curiosity, I went to the application portal to see if it updated the application status (no particular reason, just was curious to see if the interview offer would be reflected).
When I went on the application portal, I accidentally opened up a new application for an MBA program, which I quickly withdrew. My initial application is still there, though right above it there's the second application (the MBA one) that says "withdrawn".
This was a couple days ago and ever since I've been trying to figure out how to get that app to go away, but each time I try it updates the "last saved" line and might make me seem a bit crazy haha.
Do you think the admissions officers will see this MBA application even though it says "withdrawn by the student"? If so, will it make any difference to my original MSF application or is it a bad thing?
I might be worried over nothing, but just wanted to double check with people from a neutral perspective.
Thanks everyone
Congrats on getting an interview call.
No, it won't make any difference. Neither the adcom team will know you withdrawn any app. So, rest assured and prepare for your interview.
Good Luck
