Hi,
I am looking to apply for an accounting PHD program in the US and I would like to start September 2013 or 2014.
Profile:
Current Age: 24
Bachelors - Major in Accounting and Minor in Economics (3.5 GPA; first year 3.0 and last two years 4.0) - Canadian University
- Took one advanced calculus and one advanced algebra course - A's in both
- Took the highest level of micro economic courses and one econometric course - A+ average
Masters - Major in Accounting (4.0 GPA) - Canadian University
GMAT: 650 [48Q 32V 6.0 AWA] (going to retake in December)
Work Experience:
2 years at a Big 4 accounting firm
Extracurriculars:
Won several top leaderships in University
Financial reporting volunteer work for a not for profit organization
TA/RA:
Teaching assistant for several courses and one year of Research assistant work
Thoughts on which schools would be in my range? Any recommendations? Thanks for your help!
