Adding/changing providers for LoRs

Question

Does anyone know if it is possible to add more than 3 people to the provider's list? One of my recommenders has not confirmed he will be able to do this and I would like to add someone else as my backup option.

However if the first person does become available I would need to change.

Is it possible to have more than 3 active at any time?
If not, is it easy to delete a provider and add someone else?

For which school? Each school is different. In the system used by H S and W you can't add more than the requested number. Also for Wharton, if you add someone and they log-in, you can't delete them from the system without reaching out to the Adcom. I would recommend starting your application at the school in question and checking what they say.

You can add yourself as recommender, get the questions/grids without starting any answers, delete yourself from the list and add the ones you know will be your recommenders. Keep the open spot for those in doubt till they confirm, but pass them the questions in the mean time sothey can work on them.
