Thanks so much for your speedy response. Of the above, do you have any recommendation (I'll check the individual reviews posted on this forum as well)? Also, I already have access to the MGMAT CATs since I have their books, do I need to purchase the question bank separately?

Thanks again.

You should be able to access the question banks if you have access to the tests. Please note: each nook provides access to the six tests on its own, but each book only provides access to ONE question bank (the one for that book):

The Veritas books have received very favorable reviews and have lots of questions.

Hello There,

I've been searching around on this forum but couldn't find an answer specific to my question. I've run out of verbal practice questions on OG12 & Verbal Review and I'd like to know the resources available for additional practice. I take the GMAT in another 25 days, and I've got plenty of quality practice material lined up for Quant courtesy the GMAT Club tests, but I wanted something lined up for Verbal as well. And of course, I'd expect the quality of the material to be as close as the real thing. In the absence of any other material is it worth the while to re-do the OG questions?

I've also been working on the MGMAT CATs till now and I am saving the GMAT prep CATs for the last two weeks, so I wouldn't want any material that overlaps with the GMAT prep. I hear that the GMAT focus and GMAT paper tests may contain questions that overlap with GMAT prep...

Any pointers here would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Ari

GMAT Paper Tests has a significant overlap with OGs !! Its kinda annoying if you believe me.
If you've exhausted OG 12 and Verbal Supplement, OG 11 has about 300 unique questions (do not overlap with OG 12)
If you are looking for CR and RC practice - try LSAT Tests - The RC passages and CR questions have structure similar to the GMAT. Plus they are slightly more difficult and RC are much more longer.
For SC stay put with the OG and Verbal Supplement. Its sufficient. If you want you can skim and redo the questions - They aren't too many.

One thing you should know that you can take the GMATpreps towards the end but, I think some very important resources are the GMATprep documents in this forum. Fundamentally you should use these documents after exhausting the GMATpreps but these documents have about 200 new SC, more than 100 CR and about 30 RC questions. And experienced test takers have said that Verbal is very close to the questions in GMATprep.

So consider taking the preps earlier and use those documents to become more adept at GMAT Verbal rather than moving to non official material.

Be sure to read the explanation to every SC question in ManhattanGMAT forum, expert comments.

Using non official material in the last month will only push you off track.
My 2 cents . Cheers!

Thanks a lot, I will take this into consideration. I completely agree with you on staying away from non-official material when official material are yet to be exhausted.

But this puts my schedule in a tough spot though, I'm reluctant to take the GMAT Prep before I complete all the MGMAT CATs and at least 20 GMAT Club Tests (they are great!). I think I'll stick to my plan of taking the GMAT prep tests (at least 4 times) two weeks before D-day and try covering all the documents on the forum before the exam. Till then I'll continue revisiting questions on OG 12, especially the ones I got wrong.

Had a follow up question on OG11 though, are there any overlaps between OG11 and the GMAT prep? And is there a list handy that marks the problems that are distinct?

Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Well, honestly as of now I have taken just one GMATPrep and I did not feel that I had seen any question enough to skew my results.

But I do remember that a couple of questions I had seen on this forum, which can become an issue. There are a lot of people who post GMATprep questions without tagging them and do not understand the gravity of this situation. So be wary of that.

aristotleprep.com has a document enlisting the unique questions relative to both OG 11 and OG 12. But its only for verbal.

Quant has significantly more overlap than Verbal. Try the last 50 questions of PS and DS - they are pretty good.
