Did a little research on mba.com, and here's what I found:

"With some restrictions, as noted below, the following are the only acceptable forms of ID that you may use at the test center: you must present at least one of the forms of government-issued identification listed below when you arrive at the test center. (1) The ID must be current (not expired) and legible and must bear your name in the Roman alphabet (as is used in this website) exactly as you provided when you made your test appointment, including the order and placement of the names. (2) Date of birth must also match exactly the date provided when you made your test appointment. (3) The ID must also include a recent, recognizable photograph and (4) your signature and date of birth. If you cannot provide one form of ID that includes all four (4) of these, you will be required to present a second ID also from the list that includes the missing element(s). With some restrictions, as noted below, the following are the only acceptable forms of ID that you may use at the test center:

Passport book*
Government-issued driver’s license
Government-issued national/state/province identity card (including European ID card)
Military ID card"

I added the numbers 1-4, and none of those says that the address in your passport must match your current address.

Here is the link that I found the information:

Hi upasana,
i found the following information....

Before your exam, you should check your profile on mba.com to make sure that your ID exactly matches the name, address, date of birth and country of citizenship you provided when you registered for the exam.
If your name needs to be changed, you must contact customer service to make this update. All other changes can be made online at mba.com. These changes must be completed 48 hours before your appointment time.
according to above information we can update our address details to match that on passport i think..

lets wait for GMAC customer service reply too. :)

That makes sense. I don't even want to think of how difficult it would be to get the address in my passport changed...

Got a response from customer service EMEA:

Thank you for contacting GMAT Candidate Services EMEA.

I can confirm there would be no need to change your address you would be required to have the correct name, date of birth and country of nationality.

If you should require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us by calling the phone number from the list below or via email to: [email protected]

With Kind Regards

Here's what I wrote initially:
For my address, I listed my current P.O. Box and town, which is not in my country of citizenship, since it prompted me to enter my country of residence. However, my passport has my American address. Should I update my address on my mba.com profile to my American address? I am concerned because I do not want to be turned away on the test day.

So, it looks like we were worried for nothing. upasanadatta, if you could confirm that you receive the same response, that'd be great. I think I'll just leave my current P.O. Box on the mba.com website.
