Hey,
Well you seem to have good experience, and yes for INSEAD you are pretty young, but if you feel like it is truly the right time for you, you have little to lose.
From the perspective of the AdCom, the most important thing for you to do is EXPLAIN and PROVE why it would be better for you to do this NOW and not later!
I hope this makes sense,
Best,
Jon Frank
Hi Jon
Thanks for your reply, it makes sense. Basically I'd like to apply now(Sept 2017) as at matriculation date (Sept 2018) I honestly think I'd have little to learn in my position, but as I've already "jumped" many levels in my organisation in a short period of time, they won't allow me to move to a more senior management position, therefore I can be bored for a couple of years. Moreover, I'm not sure if I totally want to continue developing in a big corporation in a financial role, so a good MBA offers me the possibility to pivot my career to consulting (or still finance, but in an startup). Even if I'd stay in my current firm, it would help me to grow faster or in other areas/functions.
Apart from this, I'd like to come back to my country as I'd be 5 years abroad at matriculation date.
My biggest worries are that maybe AdCom think about employability from a European HR point of view, as in Europe years of work experience weight more than what you have done so far, or how fast compared to your peers you have been developing (based in what I've seen, heard, read)
