i would like to seek help from the GMAT club community with reference to my profile 
BE 2014 passout
M S Ramaiah Institute of technology, Bangalore 
Industrial Engineering and Management ;GPA- 7.6/10
Campus placed in Dubai , one of leading Real Estate company from college
8 yrs of work exp- Gulf Work Exp
Currently working as Operations Manger and leading a team of 200 staffs( blue +white collor )
Experience In engineering- ( MEP, Energy Management and Sustainability)
I’ve GMAT of 740
My area of interest after MBA would be Energy Consulting 
Can you suggest me some good B schools and strategy or get in.

Your credentials are good, particularly considering the substantial amount of experience you have working overseas. In your application, you must show that you have a persistent interest in the energy industry. A critical aspect of the application would be to defend how a business school fits into your career trajectory between Real Estate MEP and Energy Mgt and the Energy strategy field. Popular areas of interest can include Energy and Environment, Energy Finance, Alternative Energy, Cleantech, and so on. If consulting is your goal, focusing on targeting top MBB feeder schools is a good idea.

In addition, you must show that you have done thorough research on alternate opportunities that are realistically within reach immediately following graduation. You may have to tweak your goal according to the school you apply to and companies that recruit in the particular geography. If you apply to an MBA program in the EU/UK or the USA, understand the pipelines for energy enthusiasts. LBS, INSEAD, and other Top schools in the EU/UK have special tie-ups for this pipeline. ExxonMobil, Chevron, and BP are also some of the top recruiters in this domain. These companies also hire from Rice and McCombs in the Texas region which is the Energy hotbed of the US. 
Haas, Duke, and Kenan Flagler are other strong programs with a specialization in Energy.

You may also look at industry-specific leadership development programs in the short to mid-term such as the Siemens CEO Track, where you would be able to leverage your prior experience. It is best to reach out to the admissions offices of schools and understand what other leadership programs in the energy sector recruit from their cohorts. I cannot emphasize enough how much reading into the responses from the schools can help you to prepare a targeted list and set the right expectations.

samrasur@gmail.com : Take a look at US schools such as UT Austin (McCombs), Duke (Fuqua), Rice (Jones), and Berkeley (Haas). Those are all reputable schools that have strong Energy and Natural Resources MBA-focused programs. You could also just target MBA programs with good consulting recruiting and then target offices at top consultancies in Texas (or elsewhere) where there is a strong energy business. If you do that, you can open up your search to includes schools like Northwestern (Kellogg), MIT (Sloan), Cornell (Johnson) and Michigan (Ross) for example. Your profile and career goals fit the bill in various US top ~12 to US top ~20 programs including Duke, McCombs, Rice, Kenan Flagler with decent scholarship chances as well. Ideally, look at applying to a greater number of programs so you can go aggressive with the schools you are targetting. The international experience will hold a lot of value, as well.

Now coming to your academics, your GPA is somewhat average, but you can compensate for it with your GMAT score. On the work front, 8 years of international experience sounds amazing. However, being an operations manager and leading a team of 200+ individuals would definitely involve several instances where you worked above and beyond your role to get the job done! So, it would be very important for you to highlight the significant impact on the company and specifically mention these instances of embracing leadership responsibilities! Moreover, It would also help if you mentioned some statistics related to important projects, teamwork, and stress on your experience working with clients from around the world. Ecs are missing. It would be best if you worked on your Ecs to help your profile get a unique blend. I suggest adding any relevant community or volunteering work you are involved in current or even some interesting hobbies and briefly stating them. For instance, I suggest you go through our article on Significance of Ecs for MBA Application , to understand the importance of drafting exemplary Ecs essays! Your Ecs could be your best asset if you only add a bit more about the overall experience! Your post-mba goals make sense and are in alignment with your prior work experience. The highlight of your application should also include how the college you are targeting will help you achieve your goals. You have a good chance at LBS, Mc Combs, Rice, Duke, Booth, Ross, and Tuck. Finally, how you connect the dots and create a compelling narrative will determine a lot.
