Hi Guys,

This is Pat and planning to appear for GMAT this year. I've got a 10 years of experience in the IT industry. Was wondering if its okay if I go for a full time MBA (which I want to :)). The purpose of asking this question is, whenever I check for the MBA class profiles of the Unis, I see that the average work experience is less than what I have currently. Will that impact the decision taken for my application?
Appreciate suggestions.

Regards

Usually age and WE matter more in the US BSchools where the age of 33-35 is considered terminal for FT MBA. European programs are more open to older applicants. I’m not sure about Asian or Indian Programs really. If you’re playing in the US, and you’re older than 33, there’s a good chance you will be directed to apply for the executive MBA program or potentially the part-time.
