Recently I've been spending some time researching all of the different admissions consulting firms that are out there and they all seem great and extremely knowledgeable. I've spoken to a few consultants through the free sessions but I'm having trouble identifying who can deliver the best results and I've been wondering if I really need it. My undergraduate career services offer this service for free to alumni but I wonder if it is as good as these firms. How do I chose which consultant to work with? And do the consultants only agree to work with you if they think you really have a shot at getting into your dream schools (they don't just work with anyone do they)? Is it worth the hefty price tag?
