Hi all. Just wanted to come back and share my admit story. I used the forum a bit during my gmat experience and wanted to share the good news with everone who helped me with MBA aspirations.

I have been admitted to Fuqua during first round admissions. My story is unique and i'm a first-hand example that it's not all about the GMAT. I took the exam twice...scored 620 and 600...decided it wasn't worth the effort to go a third time and focused on essays and interviews instead.

I guess it's true....MBA programs want the best overall candidates....not just the best test takers. Thanks again to all who use the forum.

ur story might have been really very unique. for ppl like me who have not faced much challenges in life , with an average life...college,job and career switch desires....a bumper GMAT is a must.....although still far from being a guarantee for admit..

congrats...fuqua is on my dream schools list.....

As b-schools like to put it, a good gmat is not a guarantee of acceptance but it will only be not the reason why you will be rejected.

Hey 700 slave,
First of all congrats. Fuqua is phenomenal school (which I ahppened to apply to in the 2nd round...my fingers are crossed) with just a great overall vibe!!! Could you give me some insight into your background or what makes you unique? I too have a relatively low GMAT score 670 and I would love to know what it is about you that stuck out to the adcomm. Thanks you and again congrats man!!!!! You made it!!!
