Without talking to you at some length I'm really not sure about your work experience at this point, it sounds a little scattered... have you had the chance to take initiative and see some impact from that? if you don't really have much proof of impact or leadership then it might not. And on that note I would make it your number one priority to get involved in some type of organization or non-profit where you can establish that track record. And doing it remotely is perfectly fine. this will be another topic for discussion with a consultant.

I do think it might be worth your while to contact Ivey again, there are some schools that are we need to talk to candidate over the phone, so call him and see if it makes a difference. But first get clear on what they can hang onto with regards to your work experience. You need to look marketable to employers they want for you to Looks viable in the marketplace so that is important. What is your exit strategy.

MBAPrepCoach Thanks again for getting back to me so quick and you're right about the work ex being scattered

I'll definitely will talk to Ivey and see what they have to say about me.

You're also right about the non-profit part. I have nothing to show in that area, so I really need to get at it and fill this void up. Could you please elaborate on the part where you said being associated with a non profit remotely?

As of now I don't have an exit strategy but to either settle for the school I've been assigned or drop a year, take the GMAT, get associated with NGOs and accumulate work ex and then apply next year or the year after.
