I was just admitted R2...Asianstyles, I am hoping to be choosing between the same two schools as you. Have you decided LA vs Austin?

I am very concerned about cost of living in LA over Austin....

Nope. Just the ID number which is when graduate services officially "recognizes" you for things like parking and housing...basically housing has an apartment they are ready to offer me but I am not "official" yet so they cant offer it to me. I know they have limited numbers of the apartment types we want and am worried that I am going to miss out because I am waiting on some ID number.

To answer the previous post--no scholarship from UCLA but will be attending. (I got one from USC though)

They are supposed to send it to you in an email 2-3 weeks after you submit the official transcripts to the admissions office.
