I have not heard anything as far as the process being complete or close to it.

I got contacted a week back to verify some salary information - I sent in pay stubs and got confirmation that they contained the information they needed, but nothing since then.

Did Columbia ask for that info or Kroll? this may indicate whether kroll has finished their parts and handed it over to adcom yet.

What does it say when you log into krolls website? For me it says, please wait to be contacted by your school, or something like that. Have had that status for 2 weeks.

My lease is through August, so I figure I will move in the middle of Aug sometime. I'm heading to the Feb Columbia Connect event and will prob tour around the Upper West Side as well as ask around regarding the fun neighborhoods to live in. Not sure I will be back in April because of a conflicting concert (my priorities are a wreck). Most likely I will target a neighborhood and hit up craiglist for people. Not the best route but my friends all live in other areas too far from campus. Either way I am just stoked to get started and to move to NYC!

Anyone check out the estimated budget yet? Obviously I knew this would be expensive, but it's all hitting me now. That $6k deposit for ED doesn't put much of a dent in things...

Yeah, same here. they did the background check with my work and a recommender, but that's been it. I think it's in CBS' hands now and they'll let us know in a few weeks.

In regards to the admitted event, are you required or recommended to attend both the one in February and April? Is there a difference?

The e-mail came from a Kroll address but it was signed by CBS Admissions.

Not a requirement. I sent an email to them regarding the events and they advised me to come to both as they are supposedly different and cover different material etc. I am not sure that I will be able to make the April event, so I am going to the one this weekend. My thoughts are that while different things may be covered, they will be similar events overall.
